The simple description of our company tells you we are a real estate investment and management company, overseeing in April 2008 a real estate portfolio valued at more than $5.3 billion. That’s a number we would never have dreamed of three decades ago.

It has all come about, of course, due to the unrelenting work of what is now more than 2,600 employees.  Conscientious and committed Bell people allow us to successfully manage properties in 16 states, most in the Southeast, in more than 111 towns and cities.  As you will note in other parts of our website, these holdings range across the spectrum of commercial, office, multifamily, and senior living properties.   Diversity in real estate investment is a very high priority for us.

Our mission is to purchase well-located investment properties and improve their value through attention to detail and superior, timely service.  We strive to create a work environment where our employees grow professionally and are given increased challenges, as they gain greater experience in our differing real estate divisions.

We take special pride in providing quality housing for our apartment and senior living communities.  The more than 100,000 people who live or work in our properties have a right to the best settings possible and we have an obligation to provide those surroundings.

Our existing and under-construction retail/mixed use properties also offer consistent cash flow to more than 500 clients.  Many of our high-net-worth investors have been with us for more than 20 years and I’m proud to say that several have been investment partners since the company was founded.
